I am a Licensed Montana Elementary Teacher for grades K-8. I have over 11 years experience with children in a school setting from subbing, to teaching, in before and after school programs, summer camps, lifeguarding and yoga. I have cared for newborns up to adults. I have my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in STEAM and my Bachelors Degree in Human Development with a minor in Elementary Education.
I previously taught in the public school system and have switched gears to early education by opening Rock'N Play. I am so excited to meet your child and create a fun and loving environment where your child will learn through hands on activities and play. STEAM (formerly known as STEM) will be my main focus on curriculum implemented at Rock'N Play. Teaching in the public school system has allowed me to understand what is important for your child to have before entering Kindergarten.
Outside of caring and teaching kids, I have my daughter that keeps my busy and stepson who loves to visit Montana. My husband and I, and soon daughter, like to hike, hunt, fish, play with our 2 dogs and ride horses. We go on pack trips into the wilderness with our 3 horses and 4 mules. Family is very important to me and my number one priority!
